- That’s still the same thing, Bellita. Is your first thought really “oh she’s just showing off” instead of “it must have taken her years to achieve that…well done her” upon seeing someone like Valentina Tereshkova? Why is it so hard to believe that a woman can choose a traditionally male-dominated field because she genuinely WANTS to… for reasons other than to massage her ego? That’s as fallacious as saying women who stay at home to raise their children only take that route because they’re too dumb to have a career.
