  11. This is especially bad for pickup when you have a lot of negative thoughts running around in your head. These thoughts get triggered by events in then environment. The human brain works by seeing something happen and then your brain will quickly make a decision of what does this mean. This will create a chain reaction of thoughts because the first thought will create an event and your brain will then look to see what that thought means. This then creates a chain reaction of thoughts leading to a state of mind increase or decrease. An example could be:

  14. “That’s a hot girl” -> “I like her boobs” -> “She is with another girl” -> “I don’t feel comfortable talking to two girls” -> “I got rejected once by those two mean girls at school” -> “I hated Sophie and Laura” -> “I had a bad time at school” -> “Why couldn’t I make friends at school” -> “Maybe there is something wrong with me” -> “Tristan thought there was something wrong with me” -> “Why did I add him on face book”

  18. These thought trees as we call them will go on and on. Within the space of a few seconds you will have gone from feeling confident and happy to probably hating yourself. Negative energy will then ooze out of you repelling all the girls in your path until you get a good response. A positive response will give you some positive thoughts until the next bad event happens. In pickup bad events are very common because you are outside of your comfort zone and opening yourself up to weird social situations.

  21. The brilliance of meditation is that it allows you to catch the first thought and stop the chain reaction happening. Meditation gives you awareness, or the minds eye. You will get thoughts as you walk through a bar or a club this is inevitable. With practice you will be able to control them and not let them affect your night.
