Once inside, Terminal E offered just what our family needed: clean restrooms, open seating near our gate, charging outlets for tablets, and enough food options to satisfy both picky eaters and tired parents looking for coffee. We didn’t have to walk far to reach our gate, which was a huge relief with young children in tow. The boarding process was organized, and the Alaska crew made sure families had time and space to get settled before general boarding began, which we really appreciated. Everything from the announcements to the gate agent interactions felt calm and well-paced — a welcome change from the usual airport chaos. While Terminal E isn’t the biggest or most glamorous, its quieter atmosphere, helpful staff, and thoughtful layout made it feel ideal for family travel. Our kids were comfortable, we felt looked after, and the flight took off on time without a hitch.
