  2. The thing is, by putting your profile online you’re effectively giving people permission to talk to you. You’re opening yourself up to the possibility of (online) contact. So how does that translate to the ‘physical’ world? Do these people have the right to come up and chat like you know each other? Is it a good thing? A bad thing?

  4. I guess I’m the kind of person that likes my personal space – both physical and psychological. That’s one of the reasons online dating is hard for me – because I really have to let go of some of my boundaries and control. I can cope with that online… but in the ‘real’ world..? Let’s just say I keep my eyes firmly looking out the window of the bus.
