I was quite impressed with the Alaska Airlines SJC Terminal. San Jose felt like a welcome change from the considerably busier airports I'm used to flying from. Everything from baggage check to boarding was managed effectively in Alaska's well-organized terminal. In no way did I feel hurried. Plenty of seats were available close to the gates, and there were obvious indications. While I waited to board, I had a peaceful cup of coffee. Everything was peaceful and well-organized, which helped my work vacation get off to a good start.
