In my own defense on the PC thing:

 

I once inadvertently helped a friend of mine discover that he was not the race he thought he was, lmao!!

 

*For some reason I’m good at guessing a person’s culture/race once I meet them face-to-face and its like a fun challenge for me*

 

I had a best *guy* friend in High School named “Aman”. Now he mostly looked Indian, had an Indian name, wore a ring with his Indian Family Crest, etc etc……

 

So once I came out of left field and said: “Are you sure you’re just Indian?”. (So he was all arrogantly like “Um, yeah.”)

 

And I said: “Well I think you look Fijian.”

 

He says: “I’m sorry……what?!!”

 

I said: “As in from the Island of Fiji?”

 

He laughed his ass off and mocked me and all that, but then he apparently decided to ask his father about it anyhow……and his dad looks at him and says: “Why do you think there’s a giant map of Fiji on the wall, Aman?”
