We anticipated the typical airport mayhem when we got out of the car at LAX, but we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly and neatly the Delta Airlines LAX Terminal welcomed us. The drop-off area was tidy, well-organized, and friendly, in contrast to the typical airport chaos. Almost immediately, a friendly Delta employee came up to us and offered to help us with our bags and stroller. That degree of help was crucial with two young children and a ton of travel equipment. The terminal itself had a calm atmosphere; there were no confused signs or frantic passengers, just a smooth, organic flow. We never felt hurried or lost thanks to the simple self-service kiosks. Employees from Delta were nearby and prepared to help, patiently and carefully responding to our inquiries. Even with our car seat and stroller in the mix, the check-in process was efficient and surprisingly stress-free. The terminal felt like it was truly built with traveling families in mind—every step was simplified, and we felt supported from the moment we arrived. This thoughtful, welcoming start put us at ease and gave us the confidence that our trip was off to a great start.
