Flying with Spirit Airlines? One of the nicest qualities of the airport includes the Alaska Airlines JFK Terminal, which is where I frequently fly. The staff is usually helpful, and it's not as tense as other terminals. There were clear announcements and a well-organized boarding process. The trip was pleasant as a result. You're in excellent hands if you're flying Alaska out of JFK.
