While my Copa flight from JFK was delayed roughly 30 minutes, the experience overall was otherwise wonderful. The crew was upfront about the delay and extremely courteous. Copa Airlines JFK Terminal has well-sign-posted gates, and the waiting area has adjacent shops and restaurants to obtain food. Despite there being a delay, gate attendants provided water and kept travelers informed with clear announcements. The environment was peaceful, and there were sufficient seats to sit and wait. Boarding when it started was well-organized and done in an efficient manner. Crew members on board greeted us with warmth and were able to hold it together despite the delay. We only landed slightly late, and I valued the professionalism throughout. I'd suggest arriving early just in case of such delays, but have no worries, the service and conditions at the terminal will ensure your comfort until boarding.
