I could never put up with a guy expecting me to do his laundry. I could only do things out of love and only in a fair arrangement (actually I used to cook for my ex but I learned he didn’t appreciate it, so from now on the guys will cook themselves). I would not do well in the “macho” culture, haha. Ah, so great there are Nordic men.

 

I dated a black guy once, he was in fact very nice.

But in the end of the day, I decided to stick with Baltic and Nordic.

 

Even though I like the icy blond Nordic types myself, I have dated a few Italian men and they are actually pretty chivalrous (in my experience) you just have to find one that isn’t “guido-y” and they’re very warm, very helpful men. Most Italian men take a measure of pride in being able to cook well and both my Italian exes cooked for me constantly. They also love to “do things” for you like refill your wine glass without being asked and getting you drinks and snacks, etc. They are also more *verbally* respectful if they’re the traditional Catholic boys.

 

My recent ex was Sicilian and Italian, but he also happens to have a degree in Graphic Design, is a stand-up comedian, and all around nerd. But he still had the dark, classically handsome Italian looks and he was 6’4 which is a good height for me, too. That’s what I mean….just find a well-educated one and they’re actually really good boyfriends.
