I had my first experience flying Allegiant Air out of Austin, and I was a little unsure since it’s a budget airline. But I have to say, the service at the Allegiant counter at Austin-Bergstrom was excellent. I needed to make a change to my reservation due to a work conflict, and I decided to handle it in person rather than calling the helpline. The staff at the desk were understanding and explained my options clearly. While there was a small fee involved (expected with low-cost airlines), they made the process smooth and stress-free. I also noticed they were very kind to a family in front of me traveling with small children, which left a good impression. It may not be a luxury experience, but for budget-friendly travel with real, approachable staff at the Austin office, I’d definitely recommend Allegiant. It’s nice to know good service still exists.
