- The Farmboy is capable of supporting Category 0-1 attachments and has a lifting capacity of 800 lbs. Pallets of brick have to be split into 2 to 3 pallets. Is there a way of locking the arms? So, I plan on getting the frame mount.
- The Farmboy is capable of supporting Category 0-1 attachments and has a lifting capacity of 800 lbs. With that model you can get a hydraulic thumb. So long question longer: is there a thing I could buy for my drawbar that would extend a ball hitch further out to the rear of the drawbar to let the ball and coupler clear the 3-point hitch mechanisms?
- kubota 4690 3pt backhoe attachment - After doing some searching, I bought this receiver setup from a seller on eBay.
- I'm almost ashamed to ask this but what is the procedure of connecting a 3 point hitch backhoe to ones tractor? I just purchased one and want to connect it to my 2430 Jinma. Though at first glance it appears straight forward but the more I look the more questions I have and the instructions are not all that great attached are some pics of the back side of the hoe sitting in my trailer. The mounting hardware is straightforward, two bolt-on positions at the bottom and one on top. According to the instructions the bottom arms of my 3pt then connect down below to the same position as the support diagnal members of the mounting hardware. I guess the real question I have is how do you set up the bottom arms so they will carry some load as I don't think the top link should be carrying all the load. Obviously the bottom arms are hydraulically adjustable and could be put into any position so what is there to prevent them from moving? And how do you know when you have it correct? Is there a way of locking the arms? OK - here is the scoop: 1. The top link does support everything!!!!!!!!!!!! Do whatever you got to do to get all the hydraulics ready to connect to the Backhoe. Get your BH Backhoe on the ground and back your tractor up to it as close as possible to connect the hydraulics. Turn off the tractor then hook up the hydraulics. Start up the tractor. Lower the out riggers on both sides to support the BH. Kind of like a 3 leg stool. Keep adjusting the BH outriggers, dipper, boom, to keep the BH level 10. Adjust the toplink that is attached to the BH so as to connect it to your tractor toplink hole. Extend it or shorten it as needed. Now Bolt on those brackets that are attached about midway to the toplink down to the bottom of the BH near where the lift arms are. While transporting and digging. At this point you must now lower the 3 point all the way down this is very important. As long as you BH is connected your 3 point adjustment lever must allways be in its lowest setting otherwise the Hydraulic fluid will overheat because it will be pumping fluid through a high pressure bypass. These are the 12 eaisy steps to connect your new Backhoe. BTW - I have a Bradco 3 Point Backhoe this is how I know this. I also have a Jinma ON ORDER 71 days now and counting. I guess I'm suprised that the top link takes all the weight, didn't expect that. Learning something new every day! This tractor has a draft control as well as a position control lever on it. Do you set both levers in the full down position? I guess both control the lower arms but serve different functions. Would not want them to be fighting each other. Do you set both levers in the full down position? I guess both control the lower arms but serve different functions. Would not want them to be fighting each other. You are correct in that the draft control should also be in its lowest set position. Bottom line is you don't want the tractor trying to lift the 3 pt arms at all while the BH is connected. You will be suprised how rigid the 3 pt mount is after its all bolted on. Lots of hydraulic Motors and valves are made in Italy.
- That one looks vaguely familiar. I've heard that Kioti backhoes are good, and Woods has the BX curved boom backhoes that are terrific. Now Bolt on those brackets that are attached about midway to the toplink down to the bottom of the BH difference where the lift arms are. Is there a way of locking the arms. It is well-constructed, but my impression is that the paint is marginal. Turn off the tractor then hook up the hydraulics.
