Although I didn't anticipate my British Airways FLL Terminal trip from Fort Lauderdale to be particularly noteworthy, it was obvious that everything would go smoothly as soon as I entered the terminal. In contrast to some of the bigger, busier airports I've seen, FLL felt doable and surprisingly serene. I was pleasantly impressed by how well-organized the British Airways check-in room was, and I came a couple hours early just to be safe. The kiosks were simple to use, and the counter staff was really professional and helpful, even though I had a few queries regarding my ticket to London. I passed security with ease, which is uncommon for a foreign trip. Terminal 4 felt clean, bright, and modern, with plenty of spots to charge my phone and grab a quick coffee before the flight. I appreciated having food options that weren’t just fast food, and the signage made it simple to find my gate without any confusion. Boarding was handled efficiently, with announcements that actually made sense and a gate crew that seemed to genuinely care about keeping things on schedule. Onboard, the British Airways crew was welcoming, and even though I was in economy, I felt looked after. The in-flight service was timely, the meal was decent, and the entertainment options helped the hours pass easily. On the return trip, customs at FLL was far less intimidating than I’d anticipated. I was through and picking up my bags in no time. Honestly, flying British Airways Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Airport out of Fort Lauderdale made me reconsider how international travel can feel—less stress, better service, and a much more relaxed start and end to a long journey.
