Hello! I just had the chance to fly out of the United Airlines San Diego International Airport and truthfully, it was one of the easiest airport experiences I've had in a while. My boyfriend and I were flying to Chicago to visit family, and we were a little nervous because early morning flights tend to be crazy. But United made everything easy and hassle-free from the very beginning. We checked in at Terminal 2, where United flies out of, and the signs made it really easy to know where to go. There were people around if someone did look lost, and they were actually nice—not always true at large airports! Security lines were moving rapidly, and TSA was surprisingly nice. What impressed me most was how clean and up to date the terminal seemed. There were a lot of seats to sit in, charge our phones, and get coffee prior to our flight. We ended up speaking with another couple at the gate, and we all said how well organized everything was. The boarding went well, and the United staff were sure to greet each person with a smile. It's little things like this that make you feel like an appreciated traveler, not merely a seat number.
