- On Windows 7, Podium Browser uses IE 10 settings like all SketchUp web dialog boxes do. On the Mac, Podium Browser inside SketchUp uses Safari 7 settings. If you are having PB problems inside SketchUp, the first thing is to check might be to see if the stand alone, non SketchUp version, works. Open IE - Click on the Agree. Now see if the stand alone works. You can also try this in Chrome and FireFox. You may have to resave your serial number which should be displaying in the Options dialog box. Now, if the stand alone, non-SketchUp version works make sure SketchUp is not running quit. The open SketchUp, click on Podium Browser. If you are getting a blank screen where the thumbnails should be, click Refresh. If you are seeing JavaScript error message, continue Y or N. Click Y and then Refresh. If this continues, you may end up having to uninstall SU Podium V2 and reinstalling it which is something we did not want customers have to do. So I apologize in advance if it comes down to reinstalling. The Java Script error message is apparently due to a conflict with an older Java Script version that was cached with Browser2 on the computer. I had the same problem on SU 8 and the new Podium Browser. What solved this for me was to uninstall SU Podium V2. That action apparently removed the cached java script. But we have written something that should work if you refresh F5 or reload Mac the Browser. Paid content error may simply be solved by resaving the serial number. But if that doesn't work, Browser 3 may not be the issue. I would follow the above steps. Check to see if the non SketchUp version is working. Save the serial number in the non SketchUp version using IE. You need to use IE although the URL will work in FF or Chrome. But you need to check to see if IE is accepting your serial number. Below is the URL. I got the refresh to work with in Sketchup so the browser inside SU is now working for me. I still cant get it to save my serial number through IE, but I have it working inside SU so I am not to concerned about that but thought you may like to know in case other people run into this issue. Thanks for the help If you can't save the serial number in IE, outside of SketchUp, it's probably due to a cookies being off or security settings very high. This has nothing to do with the latest Podium Browser. The reason why it's working inside SketchUp as a plug-in is the serial number is also saved with SketchUp. You may eventually have serial number problems so I would get the cookie turned on. Also it would be wise to make Podium Browser a trusted site. It's not completely necessary but if you have your security settings in IE up pretty high, making Podium Browser a trusted site will be good. Then next error msg: Script Error: Object doesn't support property or method 'fancybox' Standalone works fine for me so from what I understand, my browser settings are fine. What could be wrong?
