Since most travelers usually use the more renowned Dubai International Airport, I honestly had no idea what to anticipate when I booked my ticket with Delta Airlines DWC Terminal leaving from Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC). There weren’t as many dining options as at larger airports, but the atmosphere made up for it, giving off more of a boutique airport vibe. The gate was easy to find and boarding started on time, with Delta staff managing it in an orderly and professional way. It felt like everything was designed to reduce travel stress, and it worked. Even little things like the clean restrooms and availability of charging stations added to the overall comfort. I had flown Delta before, but never out of this airport, and this combination of airline quality and terminal ease was refreshing. If you’re someone who values a smooth, no-fuss departure, I’d say flying Delta Al Maktoum Airport is a hidden gem worth considering.
