Delta allows small dogs, cats, and household birds to travel in the cabin on domestic flights within the contiguous U.S., provided they meet age, health, size, and kennel requirements. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old for domestic travel and 15 weeks old when traveling to the European Union. Each pet must be secured in a soft-sided, ventilated kennel that fits under the seat in front of the passenger. The kennel counts as a carry-on item, and an additional fee applies1.
