- Travelling through the British Airways JFK Terminal with two kids, I was surprised by how child-friendly the services were. The check-in personnel were extremely patient and accommodating, even talking to the kids to soothe them. We were given priority boarding and extra assistance through security, which helped a lot. The terminal itself was spacious, and we simply found seats close to charging outlets to maintain the tablets. There were also family bathrooms and changing rooms, which were kept clean and within easy reach. One of the staff even assisted us in locating a quiet spot where the children could nap before the flight. Boarding was well-run and courteous, with British Airways attendants first checking with families in order to give extra early seating assistance. Gate announcements were clear and simple. The biggest surprise was how empathetic and proactive the staff were—a complete plus when you're traveling with kids. Overall, the vibe of the British Airways JFK Terminal was chill, efficient, and kid-friendly. It's comforting to know that even big international terminals can provide a seamless and considerate travel experience for families.
