San Diego International Airport's Terminal 1 is home to Southwest Airlines (SAN). Southwest is the main user of this terminal, which also houses ticketing, check-in, security, and gates. There are plenty of food and retail Southwest Airlines SAN Terminal options close by, and Terminal 1 provides easy access to parking and transit connections. From this hub, Southwest Airlines offers limited foreign flights in addition to domestic flights. In order to ensure a smooth travel experience, particularly during peak hours, passengers are urged to arrive at least two hours before to departure. In order to significantly improve passenger amenities, Terminal 1 is undergoing upgrades.
