  15. Ah, better choice of words on your part. I think guys allow themselves to be doormats far too often nowadays.

  17. I’m not sure if it stems from low self esteem on their part, or just putting women (in general) too high up in their own eyes. Personally, my life has been much easier once I realized that women are equal to men, and not just pretty lil’ angels.

Well, that’s a perfectly realistic way to feel about women/men and the ‘pretty’ and ‘handsome’ will fade eventually, so, if you all a person was attracted to in the first place was the ‘shell’ and what’s inside is rotten…maybe peeps should have looked under the hood first and not have been smitten by the shiny paint job.

  25. I do believe young men need more guidance and positive outlets. Having a meaningful life is something I think every human (with a clue or taught to have a clue) desires and strives for and with gender roles shifting I think some women and men are trying to find their footing.

  27. Humans are highly adaptive and very clever and the baby-steps might be painful on occasion but I think things will only get better once the rough spots have been ironed out. I certainly have no problem with ‘unfairness’ being pointed out on behalf of women or men. If something is truly unfair and needs to be changed and enough folks stand up for what is right, those changes WILL take place.

  29. I’m no Pollyanna though. I figure there will always be unhappy people no matter what and that’s just how it goes (ya can’t please ALL of the people ALL of the time).
