Ceremony is at 5:00, seating begins at 4:30! Robbie and Becca met in the most romantic way -- online. To be more specific, they met on Tinder. If you're fortunate enough to never have tried Tinder or know what it is, consider yourself lucky. Coincidentally, they are both from Rome and had attended the same highschool and middle school, and before meeting, were only two degrees away from being friends themselves. It was fortuitous that Becca never left Atlanta after moving there for college in 2006, because Robbie was finally in the same place as her at the right time when he moved to Atlanta after completing grad school in Colorado in 2012. In 2014, they fired up the Tinder app, like many disappointing times before. But this time, they swiped right on each other. Becca had been wined and dined by many bozos but was pretty quickly convinced that Robbie would fit the large long-term bill when she met him in December of 2014. She likes to think that Robbie felt like the same way about her. Robbie and Becca hit it off immediately and continued to adore spending time together, sharing so many of the same interests and hobbies -- music, beer, food, traveling, sarcastic jokes, comedy, movies, unique things, friends and family. Robbie took Becca to many concerts, comedy shows and kickball games and Becca dragged Robbie to dinners, weddings and intimate parties with her closest friends. They quickly fell in love and it happened effortlessly. Over time, Becca learned a lot about wrestling and Robbie bravely tried countless dinner experiments that she had concocted; she listened to all of his running advice; he took Harvey on walks and gained a new best friend; she entertained his need for mansplaining; he told her she was beautiful and never looked fat. Robbie moved in with Becca at the end of 2016 in Midtown Atlanta. They shared a small apartment near Piedmont Park with their lab, Harvey, and small tuxedo cat, Storm. Because they were able to save so much in that tiny apartment, they were able to save up and buy their first home together in August 2017 -- a loft-style condo in Cabbagetown fifty feet from the Beltline. Their animals were thrilled to have even more space! Becca and Robbie have accomplished a substantial amount together in a short amount of time: marathons, promotions, new levels of confidence and turning 30. They have helped each other through the inevitable hard times. They have made each other better people and share a life filled with so much love and support. Finally, on Becca's 30th birthday, Robbie privately proposed to her with only Harvey and Storm in attendance. She was immensely surprised and thrilled. Robbie and Becca are excited to become husband and wife in front of their close friends and family in Asheville, North Carolina! Hi-Wire Brewing is one of our favorite breweries in Asheville, and we are excited to welcome our guests with a beer! A complimentary trolley will shuttle guests from the AC and Renaissance Hotels beginning at 8:15 PM. The trolley will make the last run from Hi-Wire Brewing back to hotels at 10:45 PM. There is also parking on-site for those who will be driving themselves. Bestie since she moved to Atlanta in 2013 and was quickly forced to hang out often with Becca's close friend group in Atlanta. She is my birthday twin exactly one year older , genuine, thoughtful, will entertain all of my ideas, keep you honest, endlessly discuss podcasts and is someone that I hugely look up to! Best friend since 7th grade: my most talented and creative friend who is a great friend no matter where in the world she's living. She aided in my understanding and eventual embrace of my mother's obsession with Broadway musicals. She is always down for an adventure and is someone who inspires me constantly!
