On cases when the transaction was rejected by the paying bank, the remittance will be cancelled and credited back net of the service charges within 1 to 2 banking days. How do I enroll in BDO Online Banking if I am abroad? Apart from Cooking and Alchemy every other Crafting is automated. Is there a returning player code? Guild Voice Chat Doesn't Work - This is very important when you are using a shared or public computer. Boss gear is: Bheg Gloves Red Nose Chest Muskan Shoes Giath Helmet Kzarka Main Hand Dandelion Awakening Karanda Kutum or Nouver Off Hand That's what every Class should aim for at End Game. Ok folks since I am playing the shit out of this game, and the game can be rather confusing for new players I decided to make a Basic Guide to get noobs started. If any of you have questions about BDO you can ask, I'll try to answer as many questions as I can. TOP TIPS: 1 Buy a Pet, it will help with the looting. With 3 Pets you don't have to worry looting ever again, they will do that for you, 4 it's even better. This is the only Items you kinda have to buy from the Cash Shop, but you can get them in the Market Place if you are lucky enough. First off let's start with some useful Links: - Tons of useful guides, leveling spots, and lists of almost everything you'll need. A must if you don't want to be at the mercy of the RNGod. It's a glass cannon though, spam Evade is a must. Though be aware, the Awakening Weapon of the Ranger is a Sword so you might have to switch from Range to Melee later on. When you choose your Channel you should go with any Olivia Channel first which grants you 100% extra XP for the first 30 Days. I also suggest you turn off Market Place notifications in the Chat Window as it gets seriously spammy. BDO is a twitch action combat type so it is important you remap your Keys to suit your style, using a MMO Mouse like the G600 or the Naga it is a huge Plus. Your screen get flooded with lots of pop up windows and the Black Spirit is constantly on your back, if you don't finish his quests he will keep bothering you. The most annoying part is when he ask you to perform Combo moves, which can be quite difficult to pull, but don't worry you won't need to use most of the Combo moves to be successful in BDO, just do it for the sake of the Quest. You will know the Tutorial is finished when you complete the Quests inside the Ancient Stone Chamber. You HAVE to complete this quest or you won't be able to use the Black Spirit functions like Enhancing and Transfusion, which are essential for gear progression and upgrading. Energy Points: Those recharge slowly as long as you are online they recharge faster if you sleep in bed , very slow if you are offline. Before they were used for almost anything, think of Archeage Labor Points, but nowadays they are only used for Gathering and Knowledge Amity , to hire new Workers and to buy from the Black Market. Contribution points are shared through all your character Family , while Energy points are character bound though the Max pool is shared. You cannot loot the best armor in-game, you basically have to craft it or upgrade it , but the good thing is that provided you have the budget you can wear the best Gear in game from lvl 1 you can twink your Alt like a God. So what I suggest is to aim straight away to the best gear available as soon as you have the money, don't waste money on other gear you will have to throw away once you get at higher level. NOTE: All Gear should at least be +15 with the exception of Accessories which is PRI for Blue items and TRI for Green Items they are cheap. Truthfully there are better combinations that suit better the different Classes but Grunil is generally good for every class, and I want it to keep it simple. But if you like to craft, or you are a masochist, here how it goes: So you buy the Base Gear, but the hardest part is to Enhance it as its Stats will increase with each level. So that's 20 levels in total. Accessories though have only 5 levels from PRI to PEN, and remember that when you try to Upgrade Accessories and you fail, you lose them unlike Armor and Weapons So what you do is get a Basic piece of gear and enhance it with Black Stones Armor or Weapon you need one for each try but it is highly unlikely that you succeed every time, in fact the higher your Gear is the higher chance of failure you get. You can easily fail 25 times in a row and for very high items even 40-50 I heard even 80 in some cases but we are talking about lvl 18-19 gear. Every time you fail you accumulate Fail Stacks FS the more FS you have the easier is to succeed at the next try, so save FS for the best items don't waste it on Green crap. Upgrading Gear is a very tedious and unrewarding business so as I suggested already, buy the gear from the AH if you can and spare yourself a big headache. Crits are no needed by the Warrior as he is already capped so you can focus on AP and Acc. Otherwise you can just level by grinding mobs which is the easy and most efficient way to level. There are 3 kind of Quests: -Combat Quests: They reward mainly CP, Skill and Energy Points very little combat XP -Life Quests Tradeskills : They reward Energy Points, good Tradeskill XP and Tradeskill Knowledge important if you want to craft -Black Spirit Quest: You should do all of them as they usually reward well CP, Upgrade Stones, Silver and Gear, Inventory Expansion Slots , particularly at later stages. You basically summon a Boss with the Scroll and you beat the crap out of it, there is a small chance they might drop BIS Gear really tiny. So if you are looking for traditional Dungeons or Raids, BDO is the wrong game for you. Before level 50 you cannot be attacked, but you can still engage in consensual PvP if you wish so. I have to say that although this is an Open World PvP game, PvP it is not so common. PvP game-play consist mainly of Node Wars and PvE spot skirmishes. In fact popular PvE spots is where you will most likely encounter PvP as people are protective of their grinding spot. You can gather Mats yourself but generally it is more efficient to hire Workers to do the job for you, the only Materials you should gather yourself are herbs and plants used for Alchemy, and Red Meat used in Cooking. Processing Mats is usually fully Manual, while Crafting is generally Automated, you let your Workers craft. You can hire a Worker in every big city, hiring a Worker requires Energy, don't hire White Workers, try new ones until you find a Green or better a Blue one. Once you hire a worker in order to do its tasks he needs Beer, which you can buy from the AH or brew it cooking yourself, this is better as brewing Beer is the most efficient way to level Cooking. Before you can use a Worker you need to invest in a Node which produces the Material you want to gather. In order to invest in Nodes you have to speak with the Node Manager and use Contribution Points, you then can assign a Worker to that Node remember you need to re supply workers with beer to keep them working. Apart from Cooking and Alchemy every other Crafting is automated. In order to craft with your Workers, you first need to buy the appropriate Workshop by opening your Map and clicking on the City icon, you will then see all the available buildings with all different Workshops, again you need to invest CPs if you want to use them. There are another couple of things you can do by clicking on the City icon within your Map, one is you can buy an Apartment only one per City which is also the only building you can actually access and decorate as you wish, and the other one is you can buy Storage Space, to increase the slots in your personal Warehouse. How do you make money in BDO? Luckily in BDO it is not such a big secret. There are many good ways to make money, one is grinding Mobs second best , Trading is also good but at higher levels, you can also train and sell high level Horses, crafting though is not worth it like in every MMO. But the best way to make money in BDO is..... You actually don't do much money from the fish itself, at least not at early levels, but by catching Relics. You can fish either actively or AFK, doing it AFK is much slower and you might get 5 Relics in 6 hours if you are lucky or the same amount in 12 hours if you are unlucky the rate gets better as you level Fishing and use better Tools. If you Fish actively though, you get Relics much faster, some people claim to make 50 Millions a day easily. I am not an avid fisher myself, but I still can make around 10 Millions daily just AFK Fishing I do make more money in some other ways but that's my secret. So there you go, I hope this Guide helps New Players who dares to try BDO disregarding its many detractors. If you think I said something incorrect or you feel I missed something let me know. I will be also happy to answer any questions. Just a few small initial observations from skimming the guide. I'll read the rest more in depth later on. Warrior and Valk play fairly differently from each other. Valkyries have a self heal, and an AoE group heal that warriors don't get for one thing. Life was much easier for them pre-awakening for those reasons. Also, Ranger's awakening weapon is a sword one handed , the dagger is the offhand they've had since level one. But good work so far! Boss gear is: Bheg Gloves Red Nose Chest Muskan Shoes Giath Helmet Kzarka Main Hand Dandelion Awakening Karanda Kutum or Nouver Off Hand That's what every Class should aim for at End Game. Boss gear is: Bheg Gloves Red Nose Chest Muskan Shoes Giath Helmet Kzarka Main Hand Dandelion Awakening Karanda Kutum or Nouver Off Hand That's what every Class should aim for at End Game. So go from pre-BIS to Boss? Boss is farmed from the actual bosses or can it also be found on market? Boss gear is: Bheg Gloves Red Nose Chest Muskan Shoes Giath Helmet Kzarka Main Hand Dandelion Awakening Karanda Kutum or Nouver Off Hand That's what every Class should aim for at End Game. The vast majority prefers Hebetate Tree Armor over Red Nose. Which is why those gift boxes spited us so, and gave us a bunch of Red Nose armors It's also why Red Nose is a ton cheaper to buy on the MP. Most people don't care about the Regen bonus it gives, as that is pretty useless in PvP. So go from pre-BIS to Boss? Boss is farmed from the actual bosses or can it also be found on market? Boss armor drops from scroll bosses, from world bosses, occasionally event boxes, and yes, you CAN get it on the MP. Just expect there to be a LOT of competition for it. So then Boss is the best gear and it can be found on Market? Boss is farmed from the actual bosses or can it also be found on market? Just upgrade or buy a DUO Yuria, it should be enough until Kzarka. Also another, less well known tip to get CP... If you cook up a large batch, and turn in all the items, you can get a lot of CP for them at the lower CP ratings AKA before you hit the dreaded 300+ CP, and things slow down to a crawl. Maybe im gonna try Ninja! Maybe I can use my sorc gear. Edit: Armor is Grunil. Got one orgre lol was soo happy when I farmed ogre and had one back than. Is there a returning player code? Can you btw give your ghullie suite to other chars? As the previous poster said you get a 30 day access to the Olivia Channels which grant you 100% extra experience. As for the Ghillie Costume the only thing they changed is the name, now it's called Treant Camouflage Costume. Still character bound like every other costume. Is there a returning player code? There's not a returning player code, but you do get special rewards to get you up and running and access to the restricted leveling channels olvia for new and returning players if you haven't logged in for awhile. Last time I checked was in july with 30 days but only played it for a few hours now that ninja got awakening im a bit interested, hopinh lvling grinding wont be that long Maybe im gonna try Ninja! Maybe I can use my sorc gear. Edit: Armor is Grunil. Got one orgre lol was soo happy when I farmed ogre and had one back than. Is there a returning player code? Can you btw give your ghullie suite to other chars? You can transfer the armor and accessories to your Ninja, but the weapons will be useless. And nope, the Ghillie suit is still bound to character. There is currently an event that gives rewards to returning players. OP-----When you start with the anti-Trump crap in your first sentences is when I knew there was nothing of value in what followed. Boss gear is: Bheg Gloves Red Nose Chest Muskan Shoes Giath Helmet Kzarka Main Hand Dandelion Awakening Karanda Kutum or Nouver Off Hand That's what every Class should aim for at End Game. When I first found out that every class has the same identical end game gear I thought it was wrong. That was over a year ago, I still cant get ovet how silly of a design decision that is. OP-----When you start with the anti-Trump crap in your first sentences is when I knew there was nothing of value in what followed. Ok I'll try to be nice, though I am starting to get enough of people that doesn't read or is not able to understand what is written. I spent more time the last couple of days correcting people who can't be bothered to read properly threads than discussing the actual subject of the threads itself. But I'll try again. Where do I say that I am Anti-Trump? How do you know? I guess you don't, in which case you should Google it, as I am not going to do that for you. Then come back and let's see if we can have a civil conversation. Open PvP starts at 45, they just didn't change the quest level. Crafted items still sell but due to demand the materials sell for more. Common MMO problem though. Cooking and alchemy are really the only life skills you do yourself. Some processing by you may be required, F2 will show you all the recipes but not the skill required. Useful links: - Tons of useful guides, leveling spots, and lists of almost everything you'll need. A must if you don't want to be at the mercy of the RNGods you will be anyway. Also, the official forums are a very good source for those tidbits that make life easier. Just make sure you check the date on the post, things have changed a lot since launch. You can immediately log in after you have received this email. Using the current security technologies and processes, BDO assures its clients of the confidentiality and privacy of their online banking sessions. So go from pre-BIS to Boss. The daily limit is P10,000. Most browsers have security settings and options that protect the privacy of your accounts. So that's 20 levels in total.
