One of the first things you notice in my recent visit is that the terminal was clean and comfortable. Delta Airlines LHR Terminal provides a newly organized and neat space that improves the travel experience. As soon as I got to Terminal 3, I was impressed by the highly polished floors, neat sitting spaces, and immaculate restrooms. The design was logical and easy to navigate, so finding Delta's check-in counters, security checkpoints, and gates was simple. There were several charging points and comfortable seats around the boarding gates, which helped make waiting more enjoyable. The airport announcements were timely and crisp and kept all the passengers well informed. The atmosphere as a whole was peaceful and calm, something of a rarity in such a major global transportation hub. Even the gate area was spacious enough to walk around without feeling cramped. The staff sanitized high-touch points frequently, and there were hand sanitizer stations all over the terminal. These little but nice touches reflect Delta's attention to detail. I departed with the understanding of how much goes into ensuring a pleasant and clean travel experience at Heathrow.
