Vidalista is a brand name for tadalafil, a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. It is also used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition that causes an enlarged prostate gland. Vidalista is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, which means it works by relaxing the muscles in the blood vessels of the penis, allowing more blood to flow into the penis and produce an erection. Vidalista is available in tablets of 2.5 mg, 5 mg, 10 mg, and 20 mg. The recommended starting dose is 10 mg, taken once daily. However, the dosage may be adjusted by your doctor depending on your individual needs. Vidalista can be taken with or without food. The most common side effects of Vidalista are headache, flushing, upset stomach, and back pain. These side effects are usually mild and go away on their own. Serious side effects of Vidalista are rare, but they can include priapism (a prolonged erection that is painful), heart attack, and stroke.
